On September 30th, 2025, Carlos MartĂnez will turn 70 – a truly special milestone in the life of an extraordinary artist and human being.
At that time, he will be on tour in India, which means a big celebration won’t be possible. Still, we (Hannes Keller and Jenny Findeis) would like to surprise him – with a gift that will hopefully touch him deeply and accompany him for years to come:
đźŽÂ The first visitor room of a future online mime museum. (This idea – or better said, this “museum dream” – has been with Carlos for quite some time. We’ve also thought about it again and again, and now we are taking the first step.)
As you may know, Carlos is planning a tour in 2026/27 with his final program, "Zugabe!“  (Encore!) In this context, we would now like to begin – gently and thoughtfully – the creation of a digital museum to honor his mime career.
As a start – and as a surprise for his 70th birthday – we are collecting contributions from people who have accompanied Carlos on his journey or worked with him.
And this is where you come in! We would be delighted to receive your contribution!
Am 30. September 2025 wird Carlos MartĂnez 70 Jahre alt – ein ganz besonderer Meilenstein im Leben eines auĂźergewöhnlichen KĂĽnstlers und Menschen.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird er auf Tournee in Indien sein, sodass eine große Feier leider nicht möglich ist. Dennoch möchten wir (Hannes Keller und Jenny Findeis) ihn überraschen – mit einem Geschenk, das ihn hoffentlich tief berührt und ihn noch lange begleiten wird:
đźŽÂ Der erste Besucherraum eines zukĂĽnftigen Pantomime-Online-Museums. (Diese Idee – oder besser gesagt: dieser Museums-Traum – begleitet Carlos schon seit Längerem. Auch wir haben immer wieder darĂĽber nachgedacht und machen nun deswegen einen ersten Schritt.)
Wie Sie vielleicht wissen, plant Carlos für 2026/27 eine Tournee mit seinem finalen Programm „Zugabe!“ In diesem Zusammenhang möchten wir nun ganz behutsam mit dem Aufbau eines digitalen Museums beginnen, das seine Pantomime-Karriere würdigt. Als Auftakt – und als Überraschung zu seinem 70. Geburtstag – sammeln wir Beiträge von Menschen, die Carlos auf seinem Weg begleitet oder mit ihm zusammengearbeitet haben.

En ese momento, estará de gira en India, por lo que no será posible realizar una gran celebración. Sin embargo, nosotros (Hannes Keller y Jenny Findeis) queremos sorprenderlo con un regalo que, esperamos, lo emocione profundamente y lo acompañe durante mucho tiempo:
đźŽÂ La primera sala de un futuro museo online de mimo. (Esta idea – o más bien, este sueño de museo – ha acompañado a Carlos desde hace tiempo. TambiĂ©n nosotros lo hemos pensado en varias ocasiones, y por eso queremos dar ahora el primer paso.)
Como quizás ya sepas, Carlos está planeando una gira en 2026/27 con su espectáculo final: “Zugabe!” ("¡Otra!") En este contexto, queremos comenzar – con cuidado y cariño – la creación de un museo digital que rinda homenaje a su carrera como mimo.
Como primer paso – y como sorpresa por su 70 cumpleaños – estamos recopilando contribuciones de personas que han acompañado a Carlos en su camino o han trabajado con él.
